September brings play & weather

Thank you and farewell

During July we said farewell to two of our longest serving community volunteers. Noelle has been volunteering every Saturday since December 2021! She attended 97 sessions over this time volunteering an amazing 345 hours!!

During this time Noelle has assisted to train a huge number of volunteers, counted and returned infinite number of toys, repaired & catalogued nearly as many, helped members fins toys, answer questions, supported all improvements and been a great sounding board for Catherine's ideas. She leaves huge shoes to fill, and we wish her all the best with her studies and new career.

We also said farewell to Alex, who has been volunteering since the beginning of 2022, attending fortnightly. Alex has spent countless minutes counting and checking toys as members return, supported new volunteers learn the ropes,

What do all these toys have in common? They are donations!

Spring Clean Donate Toys

If you are doing a clean out of unused toys, we welcome members to contact us to see if the Kingston Toy Library would benefit including these in the toy collection. Read over our requirements

It's party season

This time of year, is popular for parties. Did you know we have party packs you can hire. These include kids' chairs and tables, reusable crockery sets. Booking in advance are best.

With some décor finds on swap pages, you too can create a jungle party.

AFL Grand Final

Just a reminder we will be closed on Friday 27th September. You can book a click and collect to borrow during this week instead if you would like.

Social story time

We are excited to share with all our members our new social story about visiting the Kingston Toy Library. If you know a young person who would enjoy reading this story to help prepare for visiting, please share this with them.

Parking

Over the next 5 weeks there will be repair works undertaken on the neighbouring council buildings. This will impact on parking access in the carpark. If you are finding it challenging you can always book a click and collect.
