Toys donations welcome!

We rely on sponsorship, grants, fundraising and donations to keep the toy library running. We are very grateful for all contributions.

Toy donations

We welcome donations of good quality toys throughout the year. If you have items to donate, please bring them to the library during opening hours and our coordinator will be able to assist or contact us to discuss.

Donated toys should be:

  • Well designed, constructed and safe

  • Durable and robust

  • Complete and in good condition (see note below)

  • Suitable for children 0 to 7 years old

  • Easy to clean (not soft toys or teddies)

  • Easily transported in a car, either as a whole toy or in pieces

  • Toys don't need to be new, but need to be in a good condition (think: would I be happy to give to a friend or family?). We are unable to accept toys that are broken and soft toys

  • Unfortunately we are unable to accept bikes with training wheels

Are you are unsure the toys you want to donate meet the toy library standards? Please take a photo of the toys and email us for a quick confirmation.

Note: Often we accept toys that have missing pieces, as we can use them for spare parts.
