Summer toy care

While many members will have toys for a few extra weeks at this time of year we would like to remind you that UV damage doesn't just affect humans. It also affects our toys.

When you have finished playing with toys outside move them under cover or in the garage or put a tarp over the top when not in use.

Don't forget to clean all sides of the toys before returning.

International Volunteer Day

The 5th of December is an international day to highlight and recognise people who give their time freely to support communities, non profits, charities and alike. This year we highlighted on our socials some of the many people involved in supporting the operation of this wholly community owned organisation.

Summer Safety by City of Kingston

The Summer Safety Campaign is an annual initiative by the City of Kingston to ensure residents and visitors have access to important safety information, including staying safe around water and how to stay cool when the weather gets hot.

Check out the resources available to help keep you, your family, friends, and neighbours safe, informed, and aware during the warm weather.
