New toys coming soon

We are super excited to be awarded along with a number of toy libraries across the state this grant. $6000 from Department of Education YAY! We will be using the money to purchase some awesome new toys and improve some of our library software.

Sunflower program

We are delighted to be one of the first toy libraries to be involved with the Sunflower Program. Over the next month or so many of our community volunteers will complete training along with our toy librarian. Then you will start to see them wearing the supporter lanyard and we will have GREEN lanyards available for members to borrow and wear while in the toy library if you would like.

We are super excited to be shortly installing some lockers at the Westall Community Hub, Fairbank Rd. So if you live towards the top end of Kingston or know of families who do please spread the word. Click and collect will be starting soon. Thanks to the Family Services City of Kingston for sharing in our vision.

It was with great delight that we received confirmation of another grant success. This time Stronger Communities, for $10,000 as we look to improve our bathroom to be more accessible for families visiting KTL. Our local member, Mark Dreyfus came to visit and learn about our inclusion in the DAIS program and how this bathroom fits in with the bigger picture.
