Must-know news in June

In this edition:

Extended times

As it was announced last month we have extended our open times on a trial basis till the end of July. At which point the committee will review the success and patronage to determine if these times will continue.

Now you have even more time to choose great toys to play with at home.

Click & collect

As colds and holidays ramp up with families don't forget you still enjoy borrowing by using the click and collect service. Booking to return AND borrow when we are closed.

Toy donations

We are often asked if we accept donations, the answer is YES. There are a couple of key requirements that our toy librarian looks for before accepting donations. Read more here.

Then speak with Catherine or send email about donating toys.

1 hour volunteering sessions

NEW 1 HOUR VOLUNTEER time slots.

The committee have discussed how to make it easier for all members to complete their 6 hours of volunteering per membership year. There are now 1 hour shifts for each of our open sessions. We hope the shorter shifts will be convenient for families.

Remember you are always welcome to bring your children with you to volunteer.

Working bee

We held a working bee earlier in the year to run an audit on our electronic toys. We hope to finalise this audit with this working bee and so need some members to sign up to this event. There are a variety of times, and all are listed on Setls.

Training video designer

Do you have video editing skills? We would like to create some training videos to show everyone just how easy it is to volunteer. If you can help email or speak to Catherine when you are next in. By making these videos it will be credited towards your 6 hours of volunteering. Speak to Catherine for more details.
